The 6th annual Dynamic Georgina Marathon and Half-Marathon will bring more than 2,400 runners, 200 volunteers and lots of spectators to De La Salle Park to kick off this annual event. The fast, flat and scenic course along the shores of Lake Simcoe on Lake Drive is a favourite for runners looking for their last-chance Boston qualifying time for 2027. The half-marathon, 10K and 5K events are favourites for achieving a personal best, a new distance or first-time race experience.
The now-iconic Georgina Alligator is expected to make an appearance on the course to encourage runners, and volunteers will provide support at aid stations along Lake Drive East.
Come out to the park on race day or cheer the athletes along the course and find your own inspiration!
Registration is open until noon on Saturday, Sept. 12.
