  • Lake Simcoe:
    • Summer: Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet-skiing, kiteboarding, swimming.
    • Winter: Ice fishing – Lake Simcoe is known as Canada’s “ice fishing capital.”
  • The ROC (Recreational Outdoor Campus):
    • Summer: Rock climbing wall, vertical playground, low and high ropes, zipline, Bike Park – consists of dirt jumps, pump track and learning area, North shore bike trails including features, walking trails, splash pad and naturalized play, beach volleyball, pickleball, tennis and half basketball courts.
    • Winter: Tubing, skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and snowshoeing. No equipment no problem – the ROC has a rental shop for all your needs.
  • Beaches and parks:
    • Summer: De La Salle Beach, Willow Beach, Holmes Point Beach for swimming and sunbathing, and Sibbald Point Provincial Park.
    • Winter: Trails in parks for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
  • Outdoor skating: Pefferlaw Ice Pad (winter).
