Pickleball 

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in Georgina, with facilities available year-round: 

  • Georgina Gym – Located in Keswick, has three indoor courts to use during assigned times.  
  • Pefferlaw Sports Zone – Offers three outdoor courts, all with permanent lines and nets. Free to use. 

Tennis 

Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy well-maintained courts in scenic parks and recreation facilities:

Riding, skating or scootering at a skate park is a great way to get out, have fun and master your skills. Georgina’s skat parks and pump tracks, designed for all ages and skill levels, allow you to create your own style and invent your own tricks in a way unlike any other sport.

Skating

Whether you're gliding indoors or enjoying the crisp winter air, Georgina offers a variety of skating options for all ages and skill levels. 

Indoor Skating 

Georgina Ice Palace (Keswick) 

Located at 90 Wexford Drive, the Georgina Ice Palace features two NHL-sized ice rinks and hosts public skating, figure skating, and hockey programs. It’s also home to the Georgina Skating Club, which offers Learn to Skate and STARSkate programs. 

Sutton Arena (Sutton) 

Found at 48 Hawkins Street, this arena supports local hockey and community skating events.

Outdoor Skating 

Pefferlaw Ice Pad 

Located at 36 Pete’s Lane, this open-air refrigerated rink features hockey boards and a roof. It's free to use and open daily, though it’s unsupervised. Learn more

Splash pads

Make a splash this summer in the Town of Georgina. Our splash pads are the perfect way for kids to beat the heat and enjoy some safe, refreshing fun outdoors. Located in family-friendly parks across the community, these free-to-use water play areas feature sprays, fountains, and interactive elements that will keep little ones laughing and playing for hours.

Open daily during the summer season, Georgina’s splash pads are surrounded by green space, playgrounds and picnic spots—making them ideal for a full day of outdoor fun.

Swimming

Georgina offers a variety of swimming options, from modern indoor facilities to scenic outdoor beaches. 

Indoor Swimming 

The town features two fully accessible aquatic centres: 

  • Georgina Leisure Pool (5279 Black River Rd., Sutton): This facility includes a lap pool, leisure pool, therapy pool, and a slide. It offers programs such as lane swim, public swim, aquafit classes, and more. 
  • MURC Aquatic Centre (261 Garrett Styles Dr., Keswick): Opened in March 2024, this centre boasts a six-lane, 25-metre pool, a two-depth leisure pool, and a therapy pool. It provides recreational drop-in programs, swim lessons, and aquatic fitness classes.

Outdoor Swimming 

During the warmer months, enjoy Georgina’s beautiful Lake Simcoe beaches, such as De La Salle Park and Willow Beach. These spots are perfect for swimming, picnicking, and lakeside relaxation. Terrain Park

Looking for a unique outdoor adventure? The ROC (Recreational Outdoor Campus) at 26479 Civic Centre Rd. in Georgina is home to a dynamic Terrain Park designed for active fun and adrenaline-filled challenges. Whether you're scaling the climbing wall or navigating the low ropes course, this park is built for explorers of all ages and skill levels.

Open during the summer season, the ROC’s ropes and rocks experience features a low ropes course that promotes teamwork, balance, and confidence through a series of ground-level obstacles. The rock-climbing wall offers a vertical challenge that tests strength, strategy, and determination in a safe and supportive environment.

Perfect for families, youth groups, or anyone looking to try something new, the Terrain Park is available by reservation and includes access to trained staff for guidance and safety. Make your next trip to Georgina one to remember with an exciting day at The ROC!
